Wildflowers in Texas Hill County

Wildflowers in Texas Hill County

Hi Guys. I was asked by the Photography Editor of Texas Highways Magazine to come to the opening of the The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin which celebrates spring with Wildflower Days, including The Spectacular Wow, an exhibit of Texas Highways’ springtime photos from the annual April wildflower issue. I will be there from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, April 25th. I will be on hand to talk shop, answer any questions, and review your photo work. If you are in the Austin area this coming weekend, stop by to say by and Hi.

Here is a recent photo taken in Burnet County in the Texas Hill Country. As the Texas bluebonnets starts to seed and slowly dimension, other wildflowers like the Lazy-eyed Susan and the Firewire have started to bloom. With all the recent rain, I think it would be good year.

Please view my gallery to see more Texas wildflowers.
