US Waterfalls Photo

One thing I have learned is to have some wiggle room when shooting somewhere new for the first time. We drove 5 & 1/2 hours from Oregon to get this shot & almost missed it completely because I had to stop and get Vietnamese food.  It was an epic sunset and we almost died driving 55 mph on a 10 mph winding country road. The sky was actually a lot more dramatic than in the picture (imagined driving and seeing the sky filled up with pinks, reds, and oranges), but I only caught the last minute of it.
