Olympic National Park Photography

Of all the United States national parks I’ve visited, the Olympic National Park is by far the most diverse in my opinion. Here you will find the Pacific Ocean beaches, the rain forest, and the glacier peaks all in one park.

Weather on the Olympic Peninsula can be merciless with 17” of rainfall on average in the coast during the winter months not to mention the powerful wind caused from the storm. This was shot just after a major storm pass and I was fortunate enough to be there at the right time to witness the clouds breaking.

As you can imagine my hiking boots, socks, hiking pants got soaking wet and my lens got sprayed with ocean salt water too. This probably one of the more dangerous shots just because of how close I am to the ocean. One slip and I can say goodbye to my camera gears. The ocean water is very unforgiven as I’m still trying to get my tripod to work properly now. Please view my gallery to see more the Olympic National Park photos.
