Spring in Texas

I know people often associate bluebonnets with Spring in Texas, but with the lack of rain, it has been difficult to find a field of healthy wildflowers. Granted there are some, but it is few and far between unlike last year. However, what I have found just as lovely as the bluebonnets are the dogwoods. As sad as it sounds, I have never seen a dogwood in bloom so when I found some in East Texas I was so ecstatic (it’s funny how little things like that make me so happy these days). Here are some photos of the dogwoods I managed to capture.
