Big Bend National Park Bluebonnets Photo

I have seen a few pictures of Big Bend National Park with bluebonnets on the Internet, but I’ve never seen it in person until now. Although there were only a few small patches along Highway 385 from the main entrance to Panther Junction Visitor Center in Big Bend National Park, the sight was never the less amazing to see the two together: mountains and bluebonnets. Originally, I was there to photograph the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River with the canyons and mountains since my last visit to Big Bend National Park was too short; seeing the Texas Bluebonnets was an added bonus especially at this late of the season when temperatures were hovering near 100 degrees.
