Florida Landscape Photography

It’s been a long time since I had a normal vacation and quite frankly I don’t even know what that is like anymore. Ever since I purchased my first DSLR camera and discover landscape photography, my world has changed for me. Vacations now become a photo expedition and sadly I have to admit I tailored all my trips for photo opportunities. However, this trip to South Florida has been one of the more relaxing vacation trips as I did what normal people do: slept in, relax, site see in Key West, had a mojito drink, listen to live music, did a couple of scuba dives, swam, and ate too much. I did managed to take a couple of photos in between my trip in Florida, but it wasn’t the main focus. I guess my body really needed it as I’ve been running on fumes this past few weeks photographing wildflowers here in Texas.

Here is a photo I took close to Key West in South Florida. This is a very minimalist photo to showcase the emerald green water and white sandy beaches found all over in Florida. A combination of some storm clouds paired with a long exposure made for some interesting result. Please view my gallery to see more Florida landscape photos.
