Texas Hay Bales Photo

2011 was probably the worst drought on record in Texas. Not only did the drought affect the foundations of a lot of homes and grasses, but also it severely impacted the farmers and ranchers. Because of the drought from last year, thieves were targeting hay bales. Round bales that used to sell for $20 were topping $175. Luckily, this year we have been getting a lot more rain and hay bales are a lot more abundant in farmlands and rural area now.
