Arizona Landscape Photo

I have always wanted to photograph the Teddy Bear Cholla or better known as Jumping Cholla, a cactus that when the sun hits them will illuminate a “glow”. When the opportunities knock, I took advantage of it and flew to Phoenix, Arizona for a few days. Fortunately, the Sonoran Desert was very close to Phoenix and having seen a dozen photos of the cholla catus, I knew I wanted a different composition instead of just the mountains and desert. I drove for a couple of days in the Tonto National Forest and finally found what I had imagined in my head: a desert oasis.

I feel a little rusty not having photographed anything for a year so it’s nice to come home with an Arizona landscape photo that I am happy with.
