Texas Windmills Photo

Happy Independence Day, Texans! On March 2nd, 1836 the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed.

I figure I would share a photo of an old Texas windmill as farmers and ranchers still use it to this day as it’s one of the most energy efficient ways to pump water from under the ground. The Texas windmills design hasn’t changed in almost 150 years because of its durability and efficiently to lift underground water to the surface.
