Texas Wildflower Photography

Spring has arrived very early this year in Texas due to the mild winter we had. Because of the much needed rain we have been receiving in the fall and winter, the wildflowers this year will be much better than last year. As a Texas landscape photographer, this time of year is a real treat to photograph Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush, and various other wildflowers.

This was shot last year in Ennis, Texas, practically the only place with a healthy large fields of wildflowers. It was probably the best and only bluebonnet show in Texas due to the devastating drought in 2011. Read my other post about Texas wildflowers, Texas bluebonnets, and Texas sunflower.
