Texas Scenic Picture

Personally for me, Caprock Canyons State Park is Texas’ hidden gem. It’s tucked away just below Amarillo in the rugged landscape of Texas Panhandle. It is not as known as Palo Duro Canyons State Park which has been named “The Grand Canyon of Texas” yet it rivals as much beauty as any places I have been fortunate enough to see. This Texas scenic photo was photograph during a 3-days period when it was very cold (temperature was low as 39 degrees) and very high winds. Luckily, the wind slowed down and the sun finally peaked out from the heavy clouds for 30 minutes for me to photograph this serene scene.
