Texas Nature Photography

This is my first official year photographing bluebonnets and was it ever a spectacular year for them (of course I don’t really have anything to compare it ☺). The bluebonnets have all been gone, but second waves of wildflowers which includes Indian firewheels/blankets, white poppies, lazy daisies, and others are beginning to show up in a lot of areas despite the lack of rain and high temperatures. These Texas wildflowers are really tenacious, as they have endured a year and half of practically no rain. Let’s just pray that we get some needed rain especially in the Hill Country, Central, and North Texas. Read my other posts about Texas bluebonnets, Texas wildflowers, and Texas landscape.
