Texas Bluebonnet Photography

I like to believe in my heart that things don’t happen on accidents. Take for example this photo I took one afternoon unplanned. I woke up early for a sunrise shot one morning and saw that it was raining and very gloomy. Despite the weather, I went to Atascosa County hoping for the best. I waited for an hour didn’t get any great picture, however, I met a local gentleman who would lead me to this photograph. Our paths met twice both on the same road: the 1st time early in the morning when he stopped and asked if I saw a teenage boy who he was looking for and then the 2nd time when he told me the wonderful news that he found his son. The 2nd time we ended talking a little bit and then he asked if I wanted to see some real wildflowers as he saw me with my camera gears again. Initially, I was a little hesitant because I was already alone by myself on this country road, but I’m glad I follow him in my car as he showed me an unknown dirt road to this 50+ acres field full of bluebonnets. Again, some of the nicest folks I have met have been in South Texas, but traveling alone and being female I just have to be extra cautious of my surroundings.
