Texas Bluebonnet Photo
After researching and seeing so many beautiful photos of wildflowers sightings in Texas I decided to do a road trip to the Hill Country. In one day, I drove over 450 miles stopping briefly at Cleburne State Park, Lampasas, Burnet, Buchanan Dam, and to Inks Lake State Park. I figured even if I didn’t see any spectacular field of wildflowers, I would still be able to see Inks Lake State Park which was always on my list to visit. There were a lot of beautiful wildflowers growing on Highway 29 to Buchanan Dam, but most of it was on private property as well. Having scope the area all day, I decided to stop at Inks Lake State Park to hopefully photograph a sunset there to end the day. Inside the state park, there were not a lot of wildflowers as I hoped. I had the option to photograph Inks Lake State Park with a lot of cactus which most people associate Texas landscape to be or show it differently in a softer side. I opted for the softer side.
