Arkansas Landscape Photo

I have been very fortunate and blessed to visit some amazing places around the United States, but I have to admit some of the best photos I captured are all within reasonable driving distance from where I live. I live in the heart of Texas in a town full of urban and city life, which is perfect, if I was an architect photographer instead of a landscape photographer. But sometimes you make due of what you have and for me it is a good a reason to pack all my camping and hiking gears and drive somewhere remote to enjoy nature and all that she has to offer.

This is the first weekend I am home in a very long time. The rain has definitely hindered any of my plans, but it really is a wonderful early birthday gift, as I know we desperately need it. I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

This was shot at the peak of the fall colors in Flatside Pinnacle in Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas. Read my other post about Arkansas landscape and fall colors.
