Burrowing Owl Photo

I am definitely not a wildlife photographer by any means; in fact, the beginning of this year is my first attempt to try it. The Burrowing Owl is tiny (this particular one is only 9″ tall) and unlike most owls, they are often active during the day. The Burrowing Owl can be found in grasslands, rangelands, agricultural areas and nest in burrows, such as those excavated by prairie dogs.

This is rare treat me to see an owl much less an adorable 9″ burrowing owl. I hope you guys like the photo as that is how I feel sometimes. =)
