Yosemite National Park

My recent trip to California has been a true test of patience. I can honestly say that as much as I tried to plan my itinerary to the point of having OCD, I am still at the mercy of Mother Nature. I have spent 7 days trekking the Northern part of California, woke up at 3:30 a.m. and stayed past 9 p.m. and was always disappointed with the result as there was not a single cloud in the sky. The funny thing is when I finally gave up the idea of shooting sunrise or sunset and just enjoy my trip there; I was given an unexpected gift of light. I am not sure how to explain this truly remarkable scene because this wasn’t cause from dense fog or the drench spray from the waterfall because it only lasted a good minute.
