Photography of Texas Landscape

I have always wanted to scope out Mineral Wells State Park as it is so close to home in Dallas/Ft. Worth. As an avid outdoor person, this state park offers a lot of things that I love so much such as fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, camping, and rock climbing. While I was walking around the state park, I just happened to talk to 2 fishermen and as always they were so friendly and gave me a lot of information about fishing. That’s one thing I love about living in Texas and I think it’s most people in the South as they generally are very friendly and gracious.

Wished I had a better composition to go with this amazing sunset last night, but I hope to return again soon with a canoe or kayak to photograph this serene scene.
