When people think about Texas landscape, most people often associated it with cactus. For the longest time, I wanted to avoid photographing anything that had cactus because I wanted to show a softer side of her. However, I realized that I can photograph the ruggedness of Texas landscape with cactus and all and yet show her beauty.
