Hawaii Landscape Picture

I’ve always wanted to photograph a rainbow and have been chasing it ever since I started my career as a landscape photographer 2 years ago. I did everything from reading to studying as much as possible about meteorology so I can be able to predict the weather condition. With that said, I can honestly say that none of it paid off in the field and sometimes all you need is a little luck and a whole of lot of wishing. This photo was shot in Hanalei in Kauai Hawaii one early morning. Initially, I didn’t even want to get out of bed as the previous 2 days I did a difficult 8 miles hike to Na Pali Coast and had a close-call shore dives with very strong currents which threw me around like a rag dog on the reef as I had no compass (lesson learned always bring my own gear). Sometimes things just works out and I am glad this particular morning I was at the right location to photograph a beautiful scene of Kauai.
